Megan Lohne is a playwright, screenwriter, producer, and talent manager whose work lives at the intersection of story, spirit, and strategy. Her plays have been produced across New York City and nationally, and she has received commissions to write for stage and screen, including university theater departments, independent film companies, and digital media producers.
She is the co-founder of Like Fresh Skin, a creative studio dedicated to feminist storytelling through emerging technologies. Known for its genre-defying, text-based, and immersive theatrical experiences, the company explores how memory, body, and interface collide—especially in pieces like Too Solid Flesh and Words Like Fresh Skin, which blend live performance, technology, and documentary-style storytelling. Her writing often centers the lives of women on the margins, reframing mythology, mental health, and survival through poetic and often visceral lenses.
Megan is the owner of Lohne/Graham Management, a boutique talent management firm representing elite Broadway, television, and film actors. Her work as a manager is deeply collaborative and artist-forward, shaped by her own experiences as a performer, educator, and creative. Before founding Lohne/Graham, she worked as an agent at The Talent House, built and ran the legit department at UGA, and began her representation career at Dulcina Eisen Associates.
A passionate educator and mentor, Megan is an adjunct professor at Adelphi University, where she teaches playwriting and performance with a focus on emerging voices. She created and curates the Adelphi New Works Festival, guiding students through the development of original plays. Her mentorship has led students to national recognition—including awards from the Kennedy Center—and she’s known for cultivating creative confidence and authenticity in young artists.
She holds a BFA in Acting from Adelphi University and an MFA in Playwriting from The Actors Studio/New School for Drama. A graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, Megan is also a member of the Dramatists Guild and the Actors Studio Playwrights/Directors Workshop.
A proud alum of the Upright Citizens Brigade, she has performed at UCB, The PIT, The Magnet, and New World Stages, and continues to draw on her comedy training to inform her work as a writer and teacher. Across everything she does, Megan believes in the radical power of story—and the importance of creating space for women, outsiders, and under-told voices to be heard, seen, and celebrated.
